The Chairman of South Asian Airlines Ltd is Major (Retd) Abdul Mannan who was a Minister for Aviation and member of Parliament. Now, he is the Chairman of Sunman Group of Companies having 41 independent business units at home and abroad which include Garment Industries, Finance & Investment Company, Money Transfer Agency, Insurance Company, Cold Drinks & Drinking Water Manufacture Company, Fashion Company etc.

The Managing Director of the Airlines is Air Commodore Shamsher Ali (Retd), a veteran aviator and Ex-DGCA (Chairman of Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh). Besides retired Senior Air Force Officers have been inducted and are working as Directors in different capacities. There are many Junior Ex-Air Force Officers and Aircraft Maintenance Engineers are working in the South Asian Airlines.
